Hey folks,
The regular readers out there may have noticed a little bit of a slow down in the rate of our 12 days of handmade Christmas, and anyone doing the math will also have noticed we’re quickly running out of time to post 6 more days before Christmas arrives.
Well, things were going pretty darned well in the magical little Christmas world Sam and I create together each year, that is until disaster struck. My poor girl got sick! Well more than just sick, she’s kinda been a bit of a sorry looking sick puppy for the last week and a bit.
As much as we both love blogging and sharing our projects with the world, particularly Christmas ones, there comes a time when what’s most important is spending time looking after your girl, wrapping her up in a duvet and looking after her for a little bit.
So this is my way of saying, sorry guys, we didn’t forget about you all, but we hope you understand. Just to tide you over until we’re back in business I’ve pulled together some pics from the last moments before Sam’s world kinda fell apart, when she had the girls around for a fun packed craft evening making stuffed tree decorations from felt.
In truth I wasn’t too involved (I tend to hide when the place is overrun by girls) but I think that the process was pretty straight forward, something along the lines of draw and cut out felt shapes, stitch them together with bright thread, stuff with synthetic stuffing and sew a loop of ribbon on to hang them from the tree.
So I hope you guys are all set for a lovely Christmas, almost there (very exciting!). I should head back and check on my sick angel. Here’s to a relaxed few days enjoying time with your loved ones. Merry Christmas!

Get well soon,Sam! We miss you and look forward to more blogging when you feel better. Merry Christmas!
Heya Phil, great pics.
Heya Sam, get well soon!
Heya both – if you leave out the stuffing and leave a gap unsewn at the top you can use them as pockets for treats or small gifts.
Real life is much more important than blogging, so take good care of Sam. I wish her a speedy recovery so you can both craft together. The stuffed ornaments are cute and I see one of Sam’s little knit stockings from last year peeking out from behind. Merry Christmas to both of you!!
So sorry Sam is under the weather….keep looking after her and she will soon be pinky and perky in no time at all!
Here is hoping you both have the much needed rest and recuperation that you need and can then enjoy your Christmas holiday together.
Best wishes to you both and all your followers on the blog!
Merry Chrimbles everyone!
Karen
